Will Young’s cheer journey began in high school and continued at The Ohio State University, where he grew as both an athlete and leader. Before his senior year, he discovered music production and trained with a mentor to understand the art of cheer music. In January 2025, First Place Productions was launched with one mission: to deliver custom, high-energy cheer mixes that bring teams to life on the mat. Today, Will is a high school cheer coach, UCA Staff member, and proud owner of First Place Productions—dedicated to helping every team sound as strong as they perform.
